Bonhams Auction House, Los Angeles, 2019

TMFA was commissioned to conceptualize and produce a set of selfie-friendly murals on the Bonhams Auction House located on Sunset Boulevard to promote the Brinkman Collection sale.

TMFA developed a pattern derived from a Bohlin saddle featured in the sale and used color palettes from popular paintings in the collection.

Billboard Music Awards, Los Angeles, 2018

TMFA collaborated with the Dick Clark Productions, NBC Television, and singer Ariana Grande’s marketing teams to conceptualize, art direct, and hand-paint a mural promoting the Billboard Music Awards in May of 2018.

TMFA managed the process from ideation to execution — including securing a high impact location, seeding influencers, and producing a recap video for distribution on Billboard Music Awards and Ariana Grande’s social channels.

The Getty Center, Los Angeles, 2018

TMFA worked with the Getty Center marketing and design teams to conceptualize, art direct, and hand-paint a mural promoting the reopening of the Getty Villa in April of 2018.

TMFA managed the process from ideation to execution — including securing a high impact location, seeding influencers, and producing a recap video for distribution on @gettyvilla’s social media channels.

Baume Watches, Los Angeles, 2018

TMFA worked with stakeholders from the Richemont Group’s latest direct-to-consumer brand, Baume Watches, to launch the brand to the public. TMFA created a selfie-friendly mural in Venice Beach to amplify public engagement with the brand on social media.

TMFA selected the location, designed and hand-painted the mural, and documented the process to share on @baumewatches social media channels.

American Music Awards, Los Angeles, 2017

Dick Clark Productions, NBC, and Selena Gomez enlisted TMFA to conceptualize, art direct, and hand-paint a mural promoting the American Music Awards in November of 2017.

Through an iterative design process TMFA and stakeholders at the AMAs were able to arrive at a pixel perfect rendering in advance of creating the mural.

LA Magazine, Los Angeles, 2017

TMFA was tapped by LA Magazine to design the annual “Best of LA” magazine cover.

TMFA and LA Magazine’s marketing team arrived at a novel concept: design the magazine cover to look like a mural, and create a mural in Beverly Hills that allows reader to put themselves on the cover in real life.
